Hi! I’m Aideen and I have Cerebral Palsy. I started delivering training in my previous employment with a small charity, where I delivered employment skills to disabled and disadvantaged people who were looking for work.
After marrying my husband Dean in 2011, I took the plunge into self-employment and set up Flyinglady Training. Although I have a speech impairment, I am often complimented on my ability to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions – with a little bit of humour for good measure!
I’m passionate about my training and enjoy using my personal experiences to help delegates understand the point I’m making. I always assure people that you can’t offend me so don’t be afraid to ask questions! I’ll give you honest answers and if I can’t answer a question, I’ll follow it up after the training.
In 2015, I published my memoir, “Does it wet the bed?” and I am currently working on another publication – A Disability Etiquette Guide. I hold a 2:1 Honours degree in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University.
I live in Birmingham with my husband and our three year old little boy, Jack.
Please get in touch with me if you’d like to talk about training, speaking opportunities or the value I could add to your business
